<< Sarcasm Scale >>

An explanation...

[0] = drop dead serious

[1] = no sarcasm, take it at face value

[2] = light banter

[3] = sarcastic, but still in a good mood

[4] = very sarcastic, almost enough to make you take a step back and say, "whoa"

[5] = very sarcastic, perhaps a skosh overboard [3] (and typically it means I'm upset)

ahh, thunderstorms. it's like a rainbow. a rainbow reminds us that God won't kill us by flood, a thunderstorm reminds us that he could if he wanted to. there's nothing like body rocking thunder that sets the car alarms off. i love storms at my grandparents home in kansas that you can see coming 20 miles off, you can't hear them, just see the bolts flickering. i shall go no further than to state that thundertorms are awesome. since words will fail, i will not attempt.

why do i like thunderstorms? remember the Holy Spirit expresses the groans of our spirit? thunderstorms appeal to me on that primal "groaning" level. why do i like tall buildings, long bridges, and fast jets? raw power, sensory overload. a la thunderstorm.
