ever heard of the Rev. Mychal Judge? there's a very intersting article regarding the push for his sainthood in USA Today. the whole business of praying to a dead person and recieving "a positive outcome" is..is disquieting. how catholics can believe some of the things they do is beyond me. but i understand completely that the converse is true. it's issues like this that serious and sincere people believe wholeheartedly in, the ones that make me say "where on earth are you coming from!?" but it's the exact same glaring differences in believe that make me wonder (with no small amount of fear) what beliefs we (protestants in general) have that Jesus is going to look at on the judgement day and say "what on earth were you thinking!?" and pacifism isn't the only issue i'm concerned about in this regard.21:18 email me permalink / commentary (0)
