so i've never done this before, but after hearing a plaintive cry from a young cynic in distress over lack of written support from his siblings, the guilt weighs me down and i must write. write write write. unfortunatly, the first thing that comes to mind isnow i lay me down to sleep
try to count electric sheep
sweet dream wishes you can keep
how i hate the night
now i lay me down to bed
darkness won't engulf my head
i can see by infrared
how i hate the night
and as i have yet to peruse any messages prior to 19 feb, this may perhaps be the second showing for this classic and very moving poem. honestly, i had to blow my nose even as i typed it out. the second unfortunate phrase that popped up limited itself to prose. the ships hung in the air in much the same way that bricks don't. and the ever wise: you are the least benightedly unintelligent organic life form i have had the profound lack of pleasure not to be able to avoid meeting. but, seriously folks, i haven't read anything from that guy in weeks, so i don't know why he's invading my subconcious now. so nothing profound to be had at this time, ladies and gentlemen, please come back again.
one note in response to the lengthy item included in **gasp** "brendan" 's blog of the 26th: i distinctly recall printing out that e-mail last year (school year) to "read later" (ie, in class) after chapel at..well you know, and in the middle of class as i sit there with chills and trying not to cry and my instructor continuing on with his lecture like i hadn't just seen the whole issue from a different perspective... so anyway, if i can post this now, then i can beat uh, brother into the published ranks and the easing of our beloved's soliliquy. ha. the rank interruption of his monopoly of the conversation.
