so i'm back from spring break.. exciting eh? since many of my readers (yeah, all three of them :) ) would probably be interested in hearing about it, i thought i might write about it. (my logic is so faultless you could build los angelos on it). we went on a little road trip to montana or thereabouts. more on that later, when i get around to it. we got back to grandpa's in kansas friday afternoon. kyle and i changed oil in his p/up real quick like, then headed over to our uncles for supper. it was a good evening, good family fellowship and all that. sunday morning everybody left about the same time, k and stephanie for home, and i for texas. i started seeing trees with leaves around OKC and farther south. it's nice to have summer upon us.most important thing learned yesterday? never store a 12oz can of pop in the same locale as a can opener. fortunately, it didn't puncture until i set the box down in my room so i was there when it happened instead of having it all over my trunk.
second most important thing? after rattling and vibrating around the country in my bro's p/up, 80mph in my car is a dream ride
well, i probably did learn some more important things than those, but those stuck out more. i heard the tail end of a good sermon on the radio, talking about fronts we put up in the church, that was educational. it was also such a beatiful day leaving kansas that i couldn't help thinking that it's good to be alive. spring: about the only time of year i'd rather be working construction than a full time student.
so it's planning to be a short week. come friday, schooby (who's going to have an even shorter week) and i are planning ot drift towards iowa to visit marcus. meanwhile there's all that homework i left sitting on my desk while i skedaddled as far from east texas as i could get in one week (k and i did manage to put 4010 miles on his pickup in seven days while still goofing off as much as possible).
unfortunately, the week was a failure... we didn't manage to name his pickup like i'd declared we would.
