<< Sarcasm Scale >>

An explanation...

[0] = drop dead serious

[1] = no sarcasm, take it at face value

[2] = light banter

[3] = sarcastic, but still in a good mood

[4] = very sarcastic, almost enough to make you take a step back and say, "whoa"

[5] = very sarcastic, perhaps a skosh overboard [3] (and typically it means I'm upset)

so today in Book of Acts i was sitting there.  i was awake, which was unusual.  i was accomplishing this by reading a book.  normally i avoid this because i sit in the front row (assigned seating), but hey, i was bored.  halfway through the class the prof asked me a direct question.  i looked at him and shrugged and he went on.  i thought about that encounter for a little bit then returned to my book.  actually, it doesn't matter whether i'm reading a book or not, anyone who he asks questions of, invariably they dont have an answer.  i look around the class and i have never seen such a clueless, dazed, extremely bored group of people.  i'm truly not learning a thing in that class.  then i go to Flight Instructor Theory.  ha, here i learn something.  we're currently doing presentations.  i'm doing one on thur on wingtip vorticies (check out the racquetball site on the top left that i came across in my research).  i get to spend 20 minutes on the subject and i'm looking forward to it.  our class has about eight in it, maybe nine students in it.  today a friend of mine did a presentation on aerodynamics.  the rest of the class gets to act like newbie private pilot students and ask lots of simple questions.  it's a lot of fun trying to get the presenter to crack or go postal or go to some other such diabolical end.  but yeah, i feel for k, most of my classes i don't learn much (but i did finish a book today that i finished with 24hrs of the start, a rather sizable paperback.  couldn't have done it without reading straight through three of my four classes, see?)
