<< Sarcasm Scale >>

An explanation...

[0] = drop dead serious

[1] = no sarcasm, take it at face value

[2] = light banter

[3] = sarcastic, but still in a good mood

[4] = very sarcastic, almost enough to make you take a step back and say, "whoa"

[5] = very sarcastic, perhaps a skosh overboard [3] (and typically it means I'm upset)

shroud, schooby, abu, and i went to to see "Spirited Away" on wednesday (oh, about a week ago).  i liked it.  but then, i went with high expectations to, having liked some of Miyazaki's other films "Castle of Cagliostro" and "Princess Mononoke".  i just thought i'd comment on my favorite part, the train ride.  (i'll have to give credit to shroud's favorite part, the coal dust guys.. they were beyond adorable, a very close second).  she's riding through the ocean on this train with a bunch of transparent mobsters, but that's not the important part.  the important part is the scenery combined with the music.  tranquil islands floating by, seas of color in the skies.  i can't really describe it, but i can tell you i loved it.  it was so peaceful and sad and hopeful.  btw, it's a most excellent movie in my ever so humble (but correct) opinion.  watch it.
