a word from the experienced to the inexperienced: don't eat too many starburst jellybeans at one time, i feel slightly nauseous.picture this: a large wall, curved, about 120' long, 50-60' high, covered with 350,000 one inch diameter thin silver discs hanging from pins. it would react to the slightest air currents in the room, such as you walking by it. fascinating, i want one in my house.
i also want a tornado generator in my house. this one was about nine feet tall, generating a nice 6" diameter tornado. hours of endless entertainment for me and my brother. what more could a kid ask for??
in the span of four days i had three philly cheese steak sandwiches. i like them. subways wasn't worth the price. chilis' had a most excellent one, worth every dime (it took quite a few dimes though). then spangles (a local store in wichita methinks) had a decent one on sourdough bread. just thought i'd let you know.
this week i sinned by coveting something that somebody else owned. that somebody else happened to be a clothing store in possession of a $40 shirt. i don't know what came over me... i buy all my clothes (the ones that aren't flat out given to me) at the salvation army, goodwill, and once a year (whether i need it or not), at walmart. what on earth would i do with a $40 shirt?? (besides getting ketchup on it). i'm starting to lose my grip on reality. it's high time i sold my possessions to the poor and went to live on the street. or maybe i'll just wait for the shirt to go on sale...
...i can't figure out whether that makes me sound like a shopping crazed female, or just a frugal mennonite who happens to have taken a liking for an expensive shirt. (i think it'd go good with the $10 velcro sneakers i got at walmart last year like i've done for the last five years).
