in journal.. 2 march '01 (sophomore), fri 7pm (...obviously depressed to pieces)A person once asked me. "Why do you like to draw smilies?" I didn't know what to say. Why do I draw smilies? How am I supposed to know? Could it simply be that I don't smile often enough on my face, and I feel I need to make up for lost time wih my pen? "Well," I responded, "I draw smilies, because no matter how crooked I draw the eyes, they still smile at me. They never complain, they're absolutely selfless. I learn from them."
