okay, i definately should be sleeping right now, but i fear critical component damage if i don't vent on this one.where do you think i just got home from? okay, since you won't guess... walmart. that's right walmart. and why, you may ask, did i just get home from walmart? i was wondering that too. if things had gone to plan, i wouldn't be getting home from walmart for another twenty minutes and this blog would never get written.
so i go to walmart this evening to get some stuff. it's 2207 when i walk up to the door. lo and behold they close at 2200!! what is up with that?!. i don't even like the place. in order to retain me as a customer, they should be trying to please me, not slamming the door in my face. 10 pm. whoever heard of a walmart closing at ten???
okay, so i've heard of walmarts that actually close at night. but i've been living within easy reach of a super walmart for the last four years of my life. regular walmarts are a thing of the past, right? not so in california. the land of electric cars doing forty in the HOV lane is still installing brand new regular walmarts. this destroys every good image i was building of california. i have yet to see a super walmart in california. neither have my roomates, and they have actually looked for one. this is pathetic. if walmart wants me to stand by and let them eradicate the small-time mom and pop shops of america, they had better do it in a way that conveniences me. let me tell you folks, 8-10 does not convenience me.
