of late i was disappointed to discover that "eveil" wasn't in the dictionary i use. that's a shame. but "evil" had the phrase "morally reprehensible" in it's definition, which cheered me up. "Reprehensible." ahh, don't the syllables act their part in making the word harsh and forboding? there's a word for that, but i forget what it is.i learned this one the other day while reading a Reader's Digest collection from the fifties. neé. it's french. (couldn't you tell?) it's used to denote a maiden name, eg, "Jane Smith neé Doe" translates, "Jane Smith, formerly Jane Doe." cool, hunh?
care to hear some persian pop music? Googoosh (interesting name, eh?) is apparently a popular singer. I like the feel of music from that region. now that we've heard enough latin american influences in our pop music, we should add some oriental and arabian flavors. I saw a very good independent middle eastern movie about a blind boy touching the face of Allah one time. anyroad.
the longer i spend staring at my computer screen, the rougher it's going to be staring out the windscreen tomorrow. seeya
