<< Sarcasm Scale >>

An explanation...

[0] = drop dead serious

[1] = no sarcasm, take it at face value

[2] = light banter

[3] = sarcastic, but still in a good mood

[4] = very sarcastic, almost enough to make you take a step back and say, "whoa"

[5] = very sarcastic, perhaps a skosh overboard [3] (and typically it means I'm upset)

how about i start with a tangent?

i know that's probably not geometrically possible, not without a starting curve, but i shall persist.

however, speaking of "shall," i must first go on a tangent to my first tangent to my first subject (both of which i haven't actually started yet).

In regards to California regulations, both "shall" and "may" are used.  "Shall" is mandatory, while "may" is permissive.  --that wonderful tidbit comes from my pesticide test, which i have the arrogance to claim to have passed.  test results aren't due to the 29th, but to pass (70%) isn't hard when all you had to do was memorize the test questions and their answers beforehand.  four years of taking FAA tests, prepared me quite adequately for this minor test.  thanks to my pregained skills of procrastination, i didn't actually get around to really studying for the test until the night before.  but then i was over at diego's house to study and he and brian had had enough after about an hour and a half.  so i got in another two hours the next morning and was good to go.

the most fun after spending and hour and a half coloring in little squares on an answer sheet was wandering around the arboretum, for the test site was a conference hall located at the LA arboretum or somesuch.  there were a lot of trees from austrailia there.  it was good to stretch my legs and wander through greenery and under tall arching trees.  having just read a jane austen book helped too...

back to my first tangent,

so i was playing hangman with (an aim bot).  what's the point of playing a computer if you're so fast at guessing that you exceed the rate limit for an im conversation?

that was a lot shorter than my other tangent, but oh well.

how about the main point?

oh.

um.. let me think.
