I forget with whom I was sharing about the full name of LA, but in case said person reads this, here it is (culled from an entirely reliable web-site I'm sure, I believe everything I read on the web):

the hitchhiker's guide movie deviated sadly from the book, but it came up with its share of laughs and zings. one in particular struck me as funny irony of the "obviously intentional" variety. the scene is at the feet of the computer called "Deep Thought", where the pilgrams have gathered to hear the answer after Deep Thought's program had been running for 7.5 million years. Amongst the cheering croud was a well-endowed female in her low to mid twenties jumping up and down while wearing a revealing halter top emblazoned with the words "Think Deep!".

In other words, revulsion at de Menezes’ murder showed that the public had not been sufficiently “bloodied” beforehand to accept extra-judicial executions, and more efforts needed to be made towards this end.
the socialist viewpoint was readily apparent in the article, but that did not stop them from bringing up some valid points...

from lancasteronline.com, John Hertzler (a missionary with EMM) died in a vehicle accident in Thailand, leaving behind a wife and one year old son.
thinking about this brings a lot of confused thoughts to my mind. mostly thoughts about how differen't God's ways are than mine. and about how my prayers these days revolve more along the lines of asking him to help us understand and accept his methodolgy rather than asking him to change the physical universe. what's the point of asking somebody who's got it all under control to change something in his perfect plan? maybe i just need to take an anti-calvinism pill...
I trust God implicitly, but that doesn't mean I don't suspect him of being extraordinarily devious.
