I was working my way through a very packed lobby at church a couple sunday mornings ago when the words "Well hello stranger!" made me turn around. Rachel was not long in delivering her followup, saying, "You know you've been away for a while when you respond to something like that, right?"...she's right. Her greeting could have been aimed at any of a dozen people standing withing five feet of me.
